Birthday
by lostinthought inso today is my birthday.
one of my "worldy" friends invited me over his house cause he thought being alone on my birthday was horrible.
we all had ice cream sunday's and we played words with friends, nothing extravagant but a way to recognize that i was born today.

but broadcast them to the world does not seem attractive. These people aren't attractive. Perhaps that is the point.

Read a story of child neglect and abuse among JWs in S. Africa that was sent to me.
by AndersonsInfo ini regard the information below as true until proven false because of corresponding with a young man in s. africa for a few years whose story i posted on my website: http://www.watchtowerdocuments.com/stories/caleb.html, "freedom from an unsafe haven, by caleb.
" although some of the accounts of abuse of children in s. africa in the story below are older, calab wrote me details of abusive treatment meted out to young people in his area that he chose not to put in his story for fear he could be identified.
calab in now in university in another part of africa and very happy after breaking the chains that engulfed his mind.. barbara.

Sizemik,
Why are you trying to defend an article that cannot be defended?

Sizemik,
Over the years I've seen all sorts of claims made by people on this board. People can say whatever they like, even that there are Bethelites hiding in closets.
I was commenting on the article that was presented by Babara in this thread. It is an article full of generalisations and exclamation marks - a typical sign of sensationalism. What good is the article if there's nothing concrete in it?
Good for you if you've gone and read other articles by the author. But I am commenting on THIS ONE. My criticism is for THIS ONE. I'm happy for you if you've got the time to spend hours reading other websites but some of us are busy reclaiming the life stolen from us by the WTS. So please excuse me if I haven't got much spare time these days.

Vamp - thank you for your kind words. I remember you when you first came on this site and it's nice to see your growth in that short time. You're someone I'm happy to call a friend.

Disassociated in 2006, from Malaysia...
by FlierMate ini don't know where to start.
hoping to find a place to ventilate my feelings of long period... language is a barrier as english is not my primary language, i will still give it a try.. baptized in 2000, the message they brought to me was the end of world that everyone were talking to at that eve of millennium... i believed and started reading my first book, my bible story, for consecutive 10 hours.
during the bible study, the bible instructor told me he suspected i had some form of mental disorder, and later was diagnosed as schizophrenia.

BOTR,
Stop being a drama queen. A simple research on the internet would have given you the information you needed. You claim to have a law degree yet you're too lazy to do some easy research for yourself. I find that surprising but it gives an interesting insight to your character.
